Phase Separation Science, Inc. (PSS) is a NELAP (National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Program) accredited laboratory that provides full service environmental testing at our Maryland location. State-of-the-art instrumentation enables PSS to have a decided edge over other laboratories performing analyses for organic analytes, metals and wet chemistry parameters. We are committed to offering only the highest quality technology and services.

We have analyzed well over a million samples of soil, wastewater, groundwater, drinking water, air, solvents, hazardous waste and fuels. There is also “all day” delivery of supplies as well as “all day” sample pickup at your office or project site available at no additional cost to your project. We also have the ability to accommodate “rush” pickups and deliveries for a fee.

Should your project have special analytical requirements not performed in house, Phase can put together a NELAP accredited team to provide testing for the complete scope of work. In addition, we have consumable field supplies for purchase. We would remain the one phone call you need to make for your project needs.

Client Services

Our laboratory operation was established in 1989 with the corporate objective of offering clients a personalized laboratory service emphasizing the close project management coordination and support from project initiation to final report submission and beyond should questions arise at any time after the project’s completion.

One project manager will serve as the primary point of contact. However the entire laboratory staff of analysts at PSS consists of degreed chemists and environmental scientists specifically trained in the analytical field. All are available to provide detailed technical assistance. We are dedicated to the necessary attention to detail and accuracy for each and every client/project.
